Jen Morris’s music is a travelogue through spontaneous landscapes and an electronic re-interpretation of the patterns and random order of organic principles. A re-indexation of the extraordinary and the mundane elements that constitute our daily lives.Morris rarely communicates with the human species, but when she interfaces with sound, video, and installations it is frontal and unsettling.
This track features an instrument of her own invention called the Pivophone, that uses pine cones as the sound source.
