about
Noijzu
Noijzu is a Swiss electronic free improvisation band, formed in late 2017 by Luis Sanz and Urs Heer. Noijzu combines a wide variety of instruments including prepared turntables, guitars, synthesizers, feedback systems, vocal convulsions, custom software, objects and drums.
The result creates a broad contrast in the sound spectrum, ranging from minimal to extreme and confrontational sound expressions. Noijzu blends acoustics and electronics, analog and digital chaos. Their sound has been described as "a fragmented noise symphony".
Noijzu often includes other musicians, functioning as an ensemble of free experimentation.
This collection of studio and live pieces from 2016-2020 highlights synth maestro Papiro's playful, psychedelic side. Bandcamp New & Notable May 25, 2021
